The Holbrook ladies seem to have some momentum behind them these days.

Just a couple weeks ago, the band reported via their Twitter account that they had officially signed to Universal Republic Nashville. Just a few minutes ago they reported more exciting things via the Twitter:

SHEL is SO excited to be playing Lilith Fair this summer – BREAKING NEWS!!!!!! http://bit.ly/bUfIgS

If you want to see the Fort Collins natives play, you’ll have to travel. Following the above link takes you to the band’s Facebook page, where the comment thread confirms they will be playing the Austin, TX installment of the tour…the date of which has yet to be announced on the festival’s web site.

This is fun news. Congrats to the people & community & supporters of SHEL. Should be a nice time.
