Meet This Year’s 90/10: Dan Craig
The 2008 Everyday Joe’s 90/10 Benefit is just a few days away! The annual show to benefit Everyday Joe’s will feature Dan Craig, The Riflemen, Aaron Espe, and LIfeboat Etiquette. Over the past few weeks, we’ve introduced you to these fine musicians one by one. It has been so very great and we have one more to go. This week: Dan Craig.
The operation of a non-profit coffee house and concert venue is a grand journey. Along the journey, it isn’t uncommon to stumble upon wonderful treausers, ungaurded by any sort of fantastical creature. These treasures may include nice people, amusing trinkets, delicious things. In May, the treasure was Dan Craig. I’d even say he’s a diamond. Not just musically, but as a kind fellow and as a scholar of facial hair.
Look at this moustache:
Now, look at what the moustache has become:
Sweet Charlton Heston that is gorgeous. I’m not sure if the growth of Mr. Craig’s facial follicles is some sort of gauge for the current level of his musical prowess, but if it is, my guess is none of us will ever listen to any other sound after Saturday night…because it would simply sound horrid in comparison to this bearded wonder.
Perhaps you need a bit more persuasion? Have a listen:
First, an Audio Treat that Dan has offered up to us before.
“Further To Fall”

Now, go ahead and try “No Rain Tonight” on for size. It’s a pleasant diddy.

Well then. I think over the past 4 weeks we’ve educated you quite well in the ways of fine music. The only way to top these times is by showing your lovely face at the 2008 Everyday Joe’s 90/10 Benefit, taking place this Saturday (Dec. 6) at Everyday Joe’s (144 S. Mason, Ft. Collins) at 6:30 pm. Tickets are still available and are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. You can get them at the shop or online at www.everydayjoes.org.
We do look forward to seeing you. I’ll save you a seat.
